GALO MINI MEGA: Penco's Costanera Rocked with Skate and Fingerboard

On Saturday, April 25th, the ramp facing the sea in Penco became the epicenter of the scene.

From 12:00 PM, the Galofingerboard team was already in action. Monster Energy tents, banners from Robot and C1rca, and Sesh flags transformed the waterfront into a true competition stage. The atmosphere built itself — fingerboarders began doing tricks on the scaled fingerparks built by Galo, while skaters warmed up on the ramp with the Pacific in the background. A scene that few cities can boast.

At 2:00 PM, registrations opened. The response was clear: the scene was ready.

Fingerboard in S.K.A.T.E. mode: High level from the first heat

At 3:00 PM, the Beginner fingerboard category kicked off, and from the first trick, it was clear that "beginner" was just the name of the category. The level surprised many in the audience. The S.K.A.T.E. format demanded precision and consistency, and the competitors delivered.

But the atmosphere had an unexpected star: the coastal wind. The gusts directly interfered with flips, adding an extra layer of difficulty that separated the most technical riders from the rest. Far from being an excuse, it was the ingredient that made every clean-landed trick even more valuable.

While the Advanced category took over in fingerboarding, the ramp also started to heat up.

Skate Miniramp Open: 2 minutes, 3 runs, all in

Parallel to fingerboarding, the miniramp became the other focus of attention. Clear format: pairs, 2 minutes per turn, 3 runs to choose the best score. Riders gave it their all — quality tricks, consistency, and ramp reading — as the sun began to set towards the horizon. Rarely has a competition had a better backdrop.
