See you at the ramp: Skate and fingerboard event in Penco
Date: Saturday, April 25 Time: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Location: Waterfront ramp, along Linea Férrea, between Yerbas Buenas and El Roble, Penco
This Saturday, the Penco waterfront becomes a meeting point. Together with the Penco Skate Club and with the support of the Illustrious Municipality of Penco, Galo Fingerboard is organizing an open event for those who live for skateboarding and fingerboarding — riders, families, curious onlookers, and collectors.
The idea is simple: share the ramp, skate, do tricks with big and small boards, and have a proper afternoon. Free registration, no barriers, no protocols.
What will happen at the ramp
For five hours, the waterfront will be active with open skate sessions, fingerboard demos, obstacles set up for cruising, and good weather (for now, the forecast is good). You'll find the local scene, riders coming from other cities, and the community that keeps this growing in the area.
For those new to fingerboarding, it's a good opportunity to see up close how it's done, ask questions, try out boards, and understand what these disciplines are all about. We'll be there with stock of shapes, trucks, and wheels fresh from the workshop.
The brands joining in
This event wouldn't exist without the brands that believed in it. Thanks to Robot Skateshop, Sesh, Monster Energy and C1rca for lending a hand and adding energy, product, and presence to the day. This support is what allows skateboarding and fingerboarding to occupy public spaces and meet where they should meet: on the street, on the ramp, with the people.
How to get there
The ramp is on the Penco waterfront — easy to find, you need to get there via Linea Férrea, between Yerbas Buenas and El Roble, it overlooks the sea and the bay. Come with your skateboard, with your fingerboard, or empty-handed if you just want to watch. Every bit helps.
