Passion on a Small Scale in Concepción: Chronicle of the Third and Final Galo Fingerboard Meetup at Foro UdeC

Last Saturday, February 7, the iconic Foro at the University of Concepción transformed into the epicenter of national fingerboarding. Starting at 3:50 PM, the Galo Fingerboard team began to deploy what they do best: handcrafted, scaled-down spots and ramps, designed to push riders' agility to the limit.

Skill that Captivates Passersby and Experts

At 4:00 PM, the event came alive. From beginners taking their first steps to highly experienced riders, everyone gathered to session on a professional circuit that included stairs, gaps, and rails with a level of detail that amazed UdeC passersby.

Intensity in the Competition: Best Trick Beginners and Pro

The highlight of the afternoon came at 5:30 PM with the start of the official competition. Divided into Beginner and Pro categories, participants competed in rounds of 5 riders, where each had 5 opportunities to land their best trick under the watchful eyes of an eager audience.

The judges, composed of Cris, Lucas, and Oliver (distinguished members of Team Galo), had the difficult task of evaluating the complexity and style of each execution. After intense deliberation, the winners who claimed victory were:

• Vicente Morales: Standing out for his fluidity and technique.
• Patricio Morales: Representing with full skill from the commune of Maipú.

The Close of an Epic Summer: Next Championship February 21

This meetup was a display of skill, curiosity, and, above all, the enthusiasm of a growing community. Many passersby joined the event, mentioning that they also have their setups and would not miss the next gathering.
